People earn up to ₹14 lakh by renting out their faces for AI videos in China

People in China are increasingly licensing their faces to digital platforms for use in AI-generated ads, short dramas and games, SCMP reported. Depending on the usage, they can earn between 50 yuan (around ₹700) and 99,999 yuan (about ₹14 lakh). Users can also set conditions, including the duration of use, prohibited content and whether secondary adaptation rights are allowed.
