People equivalent to Gods in democracy: PM Modi in London

Addressing a gathering at London's Central Hall Westminster on Wednesday, PM Narendra Modi said people in a democracy are equivalent to Gods as "a tea-seller can become their representative and shake hands at the Royal Palace". Earlier in the day, PM Modi met Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace and interacted with her son Prince Charles at an exhibition.
