People forced out of cabs, autos amid transport strike in Delhi-NCR

Several incidents of commuters being forced out of their cabs and autorickshaws by drivers protesting against the new Motor Vehicles Act in Delhi-NCR were reported on Thursday. At the Akshardham area, protesters vandalised a cab for ferrying passengers. The United Front of Transport Association on Wednesday claimed that over 50 transport associations and unions were participating in the strike.
