People helping road accident victims to get ₹25,000 reward, to be called 'Raahveer'

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has urged citizens to help road accident victims, stating, "Those who help will be recognised as 'Raahveer' and rewarded ₹25,000." "When accidents happen on the road, bystanders hesitate to help. I urge everyone to assist victims without fear of legal or police trouble," he added. He said quick medical assistance can save nearly 50,000 lives annually.
