People in North Korea's capital Pyongyang have been "panic buying" food staples like vegetables and flour, reported NK News, which is run mostly by North Korean defectors. The purchases may be due to stricter coronavirus measures planned for Pyongyang, it added. Shortages were initially limited to imported fruits and vegetables and then moved on to other goods, NK News said.
