People in which countries are planning environment-friendly homes as India ranks 2nd?

In a survey conducted by Statista, 52% of people surveyed in South Africa said it is important to make their home environment-friendly. South Africa was followed by India (50%), China (36%), UK (31%), Canada (29%) and France (26%). As per recent data, India grew its renewable energy generation by 98 TWh in 2025, twice as much as its power demand.
