People rush to Kanpur dump after expired chocolates are thrown

A video showing a crowd swarming a garbage dumping site to collect expired chocolates and toffees in Kanpur's Panki Industrial Area went viral online, reports stated. Dozens of people were seen scooping up the discarded sweets in bags and sacks directly off the ground. The incident sparked food safety concerns regarding the improper disposal of expired products, reports added.
