Anil Kapoor said that he didn't realise when he had become a "star", adding, "I used to tell Rajinikanth ji also, 'Some people dream of becoming the biggest stars. In my dreams...I see [my] characters'." Anil added that he dreams how differently he can play his characters. He further said, "[When] the characters became popular...Main star ban gaya!"
