People vandalise TMC leader's home in WB during arrest, call him 'chor'

TMC councillor Ashish Chakraborty, who is accused of threatening locals to get money from them, was arrested for alleged extortion and criminal intimidation in West Bengal's Barrackpore. As police and central forces escorted him away, a crowd gathered outside his residence and raised chants of 'chor, chor' (thief) against him. The people also vandalised his house, garage and his car.
