People vote for you to serve them, not break heads: HC to Sena corporator in doctors' assault case

The Bombay High Court, while hearing a suo motu writ petition into the July 6 assault of Thane doctors by Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde) corporator Ramesh Mhatre, said politicians resort to violence after getting elected. "People vote you for becoming their representatives but after getting elected you break their heads with files and chairs," the court stated.
