People warned against fake ads amid festive season, govt shares examples

The MHA released a video warning people that scammers use names, logos, and product images of brands for fake advertisements amid festive season. When people click on links, they are taken to fake websites, where they place orders and make payments but don't get the products. "Three kurtis for ₹149", "mega festive offer" were some examples of the fake ads.
