Permission for ‘Jalsa-e-Youmul Quran’ at Makkah Masjid withdrawn

The Telangana government has retracted permission for the 'Jalsa-e-Youmul Quran' event at Makkah Masjid, initially approved for the third and fourth Fridays of Ramadan. The withdrawal is due to the Model Code of Conduct for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The decision follows a request from the District Minorities Welfare Office in Hyderabad.
