Perplexity eyes $14 bn in valuation in fresh funding round: Report

Perplexity AI is in advanced talks to raise $500 million in a funding round that would value the startup at $14 billion, The Wall Street Journal reported on Monday. Venture capital firm Accel is set to lead the round. Perplexity's value rose to $3 billion by June 2024, then tripled to $9 billion by December of the same year.
