Perplexity launches AI-powered web browser to compete with Google

Perplexity has introduced its AI-powered web browser called 'Comet' that will challenge Google Chrome, Hindustan Times reported. The NVIDIA-backed startup said, "Comet is a web browser built for today’s internet." As per the company, the browser comes with a built-in AI assistant called 'Comet Assistant', which users can leverage to summarise content, compare products and schedule meetings.
