A KMCRI study found pesticide traces in the blood of 13 Dharwad farmers for up to 15 days after spraying. The findings have raised concerns about possible kidney, heart and metabolic health risks linked to prolonged chemical exposure. Researchers clarified that the study does not establish direct causation and said a larger, long-term study is needed.
