Keeping a pet dog in Karnal city will now require registration with the Karnal Municipal Corporation (KMC) within one week. The civic body has made registration mandatory for all pet dogs kept within its limits, aiming to improve public safety, cleanliness, responsible pet ownership and animal welfare.
