PETA offers Spanish city over ₹2 cr to permanently ban bull-running
Animal rights group PETA on Thursday offered nearly ₹2.05 crore to Spain's Pamplona city to permanently ban its San Fermin bull-running festival. The city had cancelled the eight-day festival, scheduled for July, amid the coronavirus pandemic. However, the city earns over ₹600 crore annually from the festival, according to an association of fighting bull breeders.
