Peter Thiel's doping-friendly Olympics seeks $300-million funding

The Enhanced Games, an Olympics-style event backed by billionaire Peter Thiel that allows performance-enhancing drugs' use, is aiming to raise around $300 million. The London-based company held initial talks with several investors for a mixture of debt and equity financing, Co-founder Christian Angermayer said. The firm promises an annual event featuring swimming, weightlifting and other sports.
