Petrol & diesel prices may rise more as OMCs still losing ₹500 cr per day: Report

Petrol and diesel prices are likely to be hiked further following the ₹3/litre hike on Friday, Times Now reported, citing experts. "Oil marketing companies (OMCs) incur ₹500 crore loss/day...even after factoring fuel price hike...They'd need to relook at prices in case elevated crude prices persist," ICRA SVP Prashant Vasisht said. Government may implement staggered price hikes, News18 reported.
