Petrol and diesel prices remained unchanged on July 16 despite rising global crude oil prices and escalating Middle East tensions. Rates of petrol and diesel stood at ₹102.12/₹95.20 in Delhi and ₹111.12/₹97.78 in Mumbai. The Centre also revised windfall taxes on fuel exports, though the changes do not affect retail fuel prices paid by consumers across India.
