Petrol bomb thrown at Shakib Al Hasan’s home after he joins Sheikh Hasina’s press conference

A petrol bomb was thrown at ex-Bangladesh cricket team captain and ex-Awami League MP Shakib Al Hasan's home in Magura on Wednesday, hours after he virtually joined former Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina’s press conference. Hasina addressed the event organised by the Foreign Correspondents' Club in Delhi. Criticising the attack, Awami League alleged it was a "genocidal attack" against its activists.
