Petrol, diesel prices hurting industry, time to cut rates: CII President

Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) President TV Narendran said that petrol and diesel prices are hurting industries and it's the right time to cut down prices. "Government has increased taxes on petrol-diesel for the last 3-4 years...Centre and states...should come forward to provide relief to the people and industry," he said. Petroleum products should be brought under GST, he added.
