Petrol distributed at ₹1 per litre in Solapur on Ambedkar Jayanti

The members of Dr Ambedkar Students and Youth Panthers organisation in Maharashtra's Solapur distributed petrol at ₹1 per litre to mark the 131st birth anniversary of Dr BR Ambedkar on Thursday. The event reportedly took place at a petrol pump at Dufferin Chowk in the city. Amid increasing fuel prices, petrol is priced at around ₹120 per litre in Solapur.
