Petroleum Minister Puri to visit Qatar amid LPG supply issues

Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Puri will visit Qatar from April 9 to 10 amid nationwide LPG supply issues. Qatar is mobilising engineers and workers to resume production at world’s largest liquefied natural gas export plant following a ceasefire in war in West Asia. India, world’s fourth-largest LNG importer, depends on Qatar for about 41% of its gas imports.
