Pfizer CEO wins $1 million Genesis Prize for developing COVID-19 vaccine
Pfizer's CEO Albert Bourla has been awarded the $1-million Genesis Prize, also known as 'Jewish Nobel', for his efforts in leading the development of a COVID-19 vaccine. Bourla, who's a son of Holocaust survivors, received highest number of votes in a recent vote, in which people from 71 countries participated. Pfizer's vaccine was "ready in record time", the committee said.
