P&G recalls over 30 hair care products over cancer-causing chemical in US

Procter & Gamble Company (P&G) has recalled over 30 hair care products in the US due to the presence of the cancer-causing agent benzene. The recalled products include dry conditioner and dry shampoo sprays from Pantene, Herbal Essences, Old Spice and other brands. Notably, exposure to benzene can result in leukemia, blood cancer of the bone marrow and blood disorders.
