PGA Tour, European Tour and rival Saudi-backed LIV Golf announce merger to unify golf

The PGA Tour, European Tour and rival Saudi-backed LIV Golf circuit announced their merger to form commercial entity to unify golf. "After two years of disruption and distraction...this is a historic day for the game we all...love," PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan said. LIV Golf circuit, which lured several big-name players from PGA Tour, was launched in 2022.
