Pharma body sues Trump administration over drug pricing
Top US pharmaceutical firms' lobbying group, PhRMA, sued US President Donald Trump's administration on Wednesday over its efforts to benchmark drug prices against lower costs overseas. The lawsuit argued that setting medicine costs was 'illegal government overreach'. It added that Medicare's regulator CMS was 'stretching authority' to rewrite pricing structure without congressional approval.
