PhD scholar caught on CCTV slapping Delhi University professor, banned from campus

Delhi University suspended a second-year PhD scholar and banned him from campus after CCTV footage showed him slapping a Faculty of Law professor. The professor, who had interviewed him for PhD admission, alleged the scholar questioned why he had been asked certain questions during the interview. DU has formed a three-member committee to investigate the incident further.
