Philippine couple weds despite hip-deep water in flooded church

Philippine couple Leian Lieza Galang and Gilbert Chico exchanged wedding vows despite hip-deep water flooding their church in Hagonoy, Bulacan, north of Manila. The couple married on September 1 at St John the Baptist Parish as heavy monsoon rains affected large parts of the Philippines. The unusual wedding ceremony drew attention online.
