Philippine Prez visits Luzon after 7.0-magnitude quake, pledges support

Philippines President Ferdinand Marcos Jr on Thursday visited the island of Luzon which was hit by 7.0-magnitude earthquake. Marcos promised residents to help rebuild damaged homes. Five people were killed and 130 were injured in the earthquake. Scores of buildings including centuries-old churches have been damaged. Seismologists said the main quake was followed by nearly 800 aftershocks.
