Philippines begins administering 2nd booster dose against COVID-19

The Philippines on Monday began administering a second COVID-19 vaccine booster shot to individuals with low immunity. According to the Philippines' Health Department, the initial rollout of these shots aims to inoculate about 7,000-13,000 persons deemed most vulnerable. South Korea, Taiwan and Singapore are among other Asian countries that have approved a second booster shot.
