Philippines to get 2nd batch of BrahMos missile system from India

The Philippines is set to receive its second batch of BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles from India, its defence secretary Gilberto Teodoro said on Wednesday. The move is expected to bolster the country's coastal defence capabilities amid escalating tensions with China. BrahMos has a range of 290 kilometres and can be fired from land, sea and submarines.
