Philippines twins with rare liver condition undergo successful transplants in Delhi

Two toddler twin brothers from the Philippines successfully underwent living donor liver transplants at a Delhi hospital after a rare congenital disorder caused liver failure in both children. The 23-month-old brothers developed liver problems due to Choledochal Cyst Type IVA. Their mother donated part of her liver to one twin, while their maternal uncle donated to the other.
