PhonePe CEO takes dig as Ashneer slams UPI charges, says 'I don't take him seriously'
PhonePe CEO Sameer Nigam took a dig at Ashneer Grover after he criticised the government's decision to impose variable MDR on UPI transactions worth more than ₹2,000. "I don't think it's my job to decide what RBI does with its surplus capital...I don't take these comments seriously," Nigam said. Notably, Grover was earlier fired as PhonePe-rival BharatPe's CEO.
