PhonePe insurance CEO Vishal Gupta quits to launch his own venture

Vishal Gupta, CEO of PhonePe's insurance business, has resigned to launch his own startup. In a LinkedIn post, he said building a new venture was the natural next step after his stints at PhonePe, Flipkart and Pine Labs. Following his exit, PhonePe has brought its insurance business under its consumer payments unit.
