Photography allowed at ASI monuments hrs after PM Modi query

The Archaeological Survey of India has allowed photography at all centrally protected monuments except for the mausoleum at Taj Mahal, Ajanta Caves and Leh Palace. The decision came hours after PM Narendra Modi asked why the ASI had barred photography at certain monuments when satellites can take pictures from far away. Earlier, people were required to take permission for photography.
