Physical relation between consenting married adults not crime: HC

Physical relation between two married adults, consensual since beginning, doesn't amount to luring someone with false promise of marriage, Calcutta HC's Jalpaiguri circuit bench said. "Initial consent for such relationship will be perceived based on mutual attraction," Justice Bibhas Ranjan said. He observed this while quashing proceedings against a married man accused of luring a married woman.
