Pic of astronaut floating above Earth viral, Twitter user says 'Most terrifying space pic'

A photo of astronaut Bruce McCandless II's spacewalk in 1984 has gone viral after it was shared on Twitter by a science page. He was the first astronaut to fly untethered from his spacecraft. "Perhaps the most terrifying space photograph to date," the post read. "This represents a level of trust in people and technology...I'll never have," a comment read.
