Pic of long jumper Sreeshankar's foul by 1 cm at CWG goes viral, fans say 'Robbed of gold'

A picture of Indian long jumper Murali Sreeshankar's foul at CWG 2022 has gone viral. In his fourth attempt, Sreeshankar seemingly crossed the 8-metre mark, however, his jump was declared invalid as he was adjudged to have overstepped the take-off board by 1 cm. "Robbed of gold medal," a fan tweeted. "How can that be a foul?" wrote another.
