Pic of twin galaxies nicknamed 'The Mice' released by NASA
NASA has shared an image of twin galaxies, nicknamed 'The Mice' due to their long tails of stars and gas, located 160 million light-years away in the constellation Coma Berenices. "The galaxies will eventually merge, in about a billion years, into a single massive elliptical galaxy after colliding several times," NASA said. The Hubble Space Telescope has captured the image.
