Pic shows 'half-lit' Earth as Northern Hemisphere enters spring season
The Northern Hemisphere entered the spring season officially on Wednesday with the March Equinox. "Today the Sun's position is directly above the equator, so we get equal hours of day/night," The European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (EUMETSAT) wrote. It also shared a satellite image captured on Wednesday, which depicts a 'half-lit' Earth.
