Pic shows Lyrid meteor shower from space

NASA astronaut Jessica Meir shared a picture of the Lyrid meteor shower from space while aboard the International Space Station. Taking to X, she wrote, "The Lyrids are...best viewed in the Northern Hemisphere by looking toward the constellation Lyra in the east." The Lyrid meteor shower takes place annually and contains space debris originating from comet C/1861 G1 Thatcher.
