A picture showed rebel TMC MPs meeting Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla at his residence in Delhi seeking recognition as a separate group. This comes amid reports that the 22 rebel MPs may extend support to the BJP-led NDA. TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee has written a letter to Om Birla requesting him to not grant recognition to the rebel faction.
