Picked up phone & asked for job in entertainment: Irani on TV return post LS loss

Speaking about her return to ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2’, actor-turned-politician Smriti Irani said the period after her 2024 Lok Sabha election defeat in Amethi was "liberating". Smriti revealed that she called people asking for a job in media and entertainment. She said everyone on ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2’ set was “flabbergasted” to see her.
