Pickett becomes 1st player with limb difference to play for US women's football team

Carson Pickett has become the first player with a limb difference to play for the United States women's football team. The 28-year-old defender was born without part of her left arm. She played the full 90 minutes at left-back position in a 2-0 friendly victory against Colombia. Pickett described her international debut on Tuesday as a "dream come true".
