Astronaut Jessica Meir shared images captured from International Space Station showing smoke from Canadian wildfires drifting across Atlantic Ocean. "My thoughts are with all of those affected," she wrote, adding, "Stay safe, Earthlings!" Canada has recorded over 900 fires this season, burning around 2.9 million hectares and forcing thousands to evacuate from their homes and remote communities.
