Pics of murdered sarpanch pained my heart: Munde after resignation

Dhananjay Munde issued his first statement after resigning as Maharashtra minister over alleged involvement of his aide in murder of Massajog village Sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh. "I firmly demand that the accused...should receive harshest possible punishment. Seeing the photos that came up yesterday has deeply pained my heart," wrote Munde on X. CM Devendra Fadnavis reportedly asked him to resign.
