Pics show flooded roads after 15 mins of heavy rain in Madurai

Several parts of Madurai reported water-logging after the city received 4.5 cm rainfall in just 15 minutes on Friday. Visuals of the aftermath of the rain surfaced, showing water entering into the residential areas and people wading through knee-deep water. Madurai has experienced continuous rain in last 25 days, recording 260 mm rainfall, which is 60 mm above the average.
