Pictures released by North Korean state media showed Kim Jong-un in flooded fields along with officials as he evaluated flood damage. Seawater recently destroyed an embankment with inadequate drainage system, flooding more than 560 hectares of land, including over 270 hectares of rice paddies, the KCNA news agency said. Kim slammed officials for the flood damage.
